Total Physical Response

  
   Has been called "The Approach of Understanding". This is called because of the importance of listening. But little by little speech becomes more objective. A baby spends many months listening to people around, the child has time to try to make sense of the sounds he hears, and the child chooses to speak when he is ready to do so. For the reason of the Total Physical Response method used in a class, we will list our observations and those which may mean that the meaning in the target language can often be transmitted through actions. The memory is activated through the student's response. Language instruction is in the right hemisphere of the brain, the part that controls non-verbal behavior. Understanding of language students should be developed before speaking. Students can learn part of the language quickly by moving their bodies.
Teacher's notes should be:
1.-The teacher issues commands to the volunteers.
2. The teacher introduces new commands.
3. The master changes the order of the commands.
4. When the students make a mistake, the teacher repeats the activity.
5. The teacher of the students commands that they have not heard before.
6. The teacher writes the new command on the board.


Beginning:
